Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TripStash ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TripStash ("we," "our," or "us"). We may update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

Description of Service

TripStash is a travel planning application that helps you:

  • Extract place recommendations from travel videos on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms
  • Save and organize destinations, restaurants, and attractions
  • Plan trips with itineraries and schedules
  • Access your saved places offline

The App uses artificial intelligence to analyze content from URLs you submit and extract location information. You understand that AI-generated results may not always be accurate and should be verified before making travel decisions.

Account Registration

To use TripStash, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In. By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use TripStash.

Subscription and Payments

Free Tier

TripStash offers a free tier with limited features:

  • 10 extractions per month
  • Up to 100 saved places
  • Up to 3 active trips

Pro Subscription

The Pro subscription unlocks unlimited features:

  • Unlimited extractions
  • Unlimited saved places
  • Unlimited trips

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account
  • Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Submit URLs containing illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or subscription requirements
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use automated systems or bots to access the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Collect or harvest data from other users
  • Use the App to violate any third-party rights

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Intellectual Property

Our Content

The App, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by TripStash and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App (notes, trip plans, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

Third-Party Content

The App processes URLs from third-party platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.). We do not claim ownership of third-party content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you submit for extraction.

Third-Party Services

TripStash integrates with third-party services including:

  • Apple (authentication)
  • Google Places API (place data)
  • Google Generative AI (content analysis)
  • Social media platforms (video content)

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

Disclaimers

No Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

AI Accuracy

AI-generated place extractions may contain errors or inaccuracies. Always verify location information, business hours, and other details before making travel plans or decisions. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

Third-Party Content

We do not control or verify the accuracy of information in third-party videos or content. Place recommendations from social media may be outdated, incorrect, or unsuitable for your needs.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRIPSTASH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of data or content
  • Travel expenses or losses based on App recommendations
  • Business interruption
  • Personal injury or property damage

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TripStash from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you submit to the App

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the App settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
